re: $25 drug test your renters before accepting them (Anchorage) $25 2010-02-11 This is remarkably stupid. What you would be doing if you even asked a potential renter to submit a urinalysis or saliva or blood based drug test, is very simple. You would be opening yourself up to a very harsh lawsuit. Not to mention civil sanctions and possibly criminal penalties and I will personally advocate anyone who has ever been asked to submit a drug test as a form of acceptance for a rental. In fact - if this has ever happened to you please contact me through this e-mail address and I will put you in direct contact with my father, who is a very aggressive attorney licensed here in Alaska. |
